Packet Pick-up
2 Options:
- Friday May 25th at the Sartell Middle School. 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
- Saturday May 26th starting at 6:30am and ending at 8am sharp.
*Transition opens at 6:30am.
Please Note: All athletes competing for prize money (except relay teams) will be placed in the elite wave and will NOT be eligible for age group awards. If you want to change your race status to elite please contact us.
ALL atheletes are required to show photo ID. NO ID, NO RACE, NO EXCEPTIONS. Every single participant must have a photo ID, this includes all relay participants. Youth athletes without an ID must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with a photo ID. Annual members are required to bring their membership card every time they compete in a USAT santioned event. If their card has been lost, they can download and print out a temporary one at www.multisport.hangastar.com
Important things to remember during packet pick-up:
- Below is a breakdown of all membership fees for 2012:
- Adult Annual Membership - $39
- Adult One-day Membership - $10
- Youth (age 17 and under) Annual Membership - $5 (this is an annual membership, one-day memberships are NOT available for youth.
- Atheletest may only pick up their own packets. Under no circumstances may an athelete pick up a packet for another person. Regarding relays, all relay members must be present to receive the packet, or split up the relay packet for each participant.
- If an athelete does not bring a photo ID to packet pick-up they have two options:
- Go home to get it
- Have someone fax them a copy of their photo ID
- If an athelete does not bring their USAT membership card to packet pick-up they have three options:
- Go home to get it
- Find internet access where a temporary card can be printed
- Purchase a one-day membership for $10 which can later be applied to a membership renewal by submitting a receipt of purchase
- Atheletes that need to purchase a one-day license must sign the USAT waiver if it was not included on the event registration form or process. Annual members do not have to sign a waiver at pick-up because they already signed it when they applied to become an annual member.
Waves and Start Times
8:30am start time
Official wave numbers will be announced at packet pick-up and race morning.
- 8:30 : Wave One Elites – not eligible for age awards – You are running for the cash.
- 8:33 : Wave Two 30 – 39 Males
- 8:36 : Wave Three All Males 29 and Under
- 8:39 : Wave Four 40 – 49 Males
- 8:42 : Wave Five All Women / All ages
- 8:44 : Wave Six All Males 50 and older and All Relay Teams
Chip Timing
Chips will be handed out on race morning. You will give your chip back as you cross the finish line. You must wear your chip on one of your ankles during the entire event. Otherwise you will not receive a time. Relay team members must move the chip from one athelete's ankle to the other. Please do no carry the chip in your hand as it will not be read at the timing areas. If you do not finish the race be certain to return the chip to JMS racing or the Race Director immediately following your withdrawl from the race. Not returning the chips will result in being billed for $50.00.
We will have unofficial results posted and available for handout shortly after the race.
After-race Fuel
There will be food and refreshments available to all participants after they finish. Thanks to all the sponsors for this!
Ceremony
Awards and door prizes will be awarded about a half hour after the last wave. You must be present to win a door prize.
